Whether it is down the road or across the country, we endeavor to lend a helping hand, ministering to families and organizations in physical, financial, emotional and spiritual need.

CareNet Pregnancy Resource Centers

CareNet Pregnancy Resource Centers' ministry focuses on providing abortion alternatives, as well as counseling for post-abortive women and their husbands. They maintain a 24-hour emergency hotline to help young mothers from making terrible mistakes with their lives. We have had the privilege of hearing the testimony of some representatives of CareNet, as well as attending the annual fundraising banquet. We support CareNet in an “as needed” way, through the Walk for Life campaign, at the Annual Fellowship Banquet and through Baby Showers for CareNet to help them restock their supply of baby supplies and maternity needs.

Kentucky Mountain Mission

A team of 47 volunteers, including 25 from Grace Bible Church, returned to Youth Haven Bible Camp for KMM (
www.kmminc.org) in Beattyville, Kentucky for a five day Dental Mission trip. They were able to minister to many who have no other access to dental care. This team is committed to serving others in the name of Jesus through providing quality dental care for no charge to demonstrate, in love, the “no charge” gift of eternal life that Christ gives to us.

Over a period of three days they:

  • saw 217 people
  • had 80 dental cleanings
  • did133 fillings,
  • did 415 extractions
  • had 13 other dental related procedures.

Each year a team of dentists, dental hygenists, and individuals and families head to
Kentucky. Everyone has a job to do, whether working the sludge line or sitting down, one-on-one to counsel and share the Good News of Jesus Christ.

This year's Dental Trip is October 8 - 12
Information packets are available at church.
Meetings for the trip will be from 5-7pm on Sunday, August 15; Sunday, September 19 ; Sunday, October 3
Contact Tim Stevic if you are interested in the trip.

Seven Loaves

Seven Loaves is a local Christian ministry, basing its name on Matt. 15:26 and Mark 8:15; the feeding of the 4,000 using seven loaves of bread. Seven Loaves is a ministry of volunteers dedicated to providing food and other supplies to those members of our community and surrounding areas who are in need of assistance.  It is a non-profit organization funded by gifts from local churches, organizations and caring individuals, which assists over 5,000 people a year.  Seven Loaves operates out of the Middleburg United Methodist Church and is open for food distribution on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon

Please place your weekly donations of non-perishable foods in the blue basket in the GBC foyer.
If you are interested in being a coordinator for this ministry please contact the church office.

Hurricane Katrina in August of 2005 devastated the Gulf Coast region. Homes and businesses were left in pieces or completely destroyed and the lives of families were forever changed.

From this disaster, the Lord has brought together the people of Mount Olive, Mississippi and the families of Grace Bible Church. Several families from GBC have taken trips to the Gulf Coast area to help replenish supplies and bring some helping hands.
Through these efforts we had the great fortune of meeting Tony and Shannon Duckworth and have been blessed to join in their ministry efforts through Material Support,  Child Sponsorships and Prayer.

Since 2005 we have sent several groups to Mt. Olive to assist in renovating part of their ministry building and have a summer camp and we have been blessed by their visits to Marshall, VA.
